November Never Came - Granger Smith

I'm a summer time boy,
I guess you can blame it on the sun.
Hot days in the shade, can never get enough.
Porch swing, bare feet, that's so me and you.

Now I'm walking by the lake, alone; nobody anywhere,
Hate to say, I felt the first chill in the air,
wish things didn't change, but every year they do.
Days fly by faster, and June turns September,
The season is feeling gone.

I'll be feeling fine if the leaves don't fall,
Bitter winter breeze, I don't miss at all,
Why do all the good things go away,
I'll be better if November never came.

In a little town don't they have better things to do,
some things don't have to be front page news,
just look at that ring he's making your drams come true,
some hearts move on faster,
and come this November,
like summer time, yours will be gone.

I'll be feeling fine if the leaves don't fall,
Bitter winter breeze, I don't miss at all,
Why do all the good things go away,
I'll be better if November never came.

Back to me, like an old movie scene,
Never thought you'd be just a Summer time memory.

I'll be feeling fine if the leaves don't fall,
Bitter winter breeze, I don't miss at all,
Why do all the good things go away,
I'll be better if November never came.

I'll be feeling fine if the leaves don't fall,
Bitter winter breeze, I don't miss at all,
Why do all the good things go away,
I'll be better if November never came, If November never came.
