Asatider - Vintersorg

"I friskan storm som kraft mig bringen
Om afton jag skadar huginsvingen
Ett sandebud som starker anden
Vi samlas skall under fadershanden"

Runt hyllingsstenen halls ett rad av
Belasta man, nu frandeskap fodas
Med eldfangt sinne sitt blod de blandar
Kamparna forbrodras
I hostlig famn gar farden fram
Med fackeltag och fana
Kriarandans krafter har
Praglat deras levnadsbana

Hednaharen leds av Vintersorg
I dagerns bleke over myrar och berg
De tappra hirdman ifran nordens borg
Med kamagloden rotad djupt i sin marg

De asavigda strava stint nar askvigg
Sla och tordon knalla
Fran askgra sky ett budskap
Hammarslagen nu befalla
Fortorningslusten avlas uti barm
For nya strider
Mot darskapslaran, ty i fimbultrackt
Skall rada asatider

Hednaharen leds av Vintersorg
I dagerns bleke over myrar och berg
De tappra hirdman ifran nordens borg
Med kamagloden rotad djupt i sin marg

[English translation:]

Time Of The Aesir

"In strong storm which brings me power
In evening I watch the wing of Hugin
A messenger who strengthens the spirit
We shall gather under the hand of the father"

Around the stone of homage a council is held by
Learned men, now kinship is born
With fiery mind they mingle their blood
The warriors fraternizes
The journey goes forth in autumnal embrace
With torch procession and banner
The powers of the warrior spirit have
Shaped their lives' path

The heathen army is led by Vintersorg
In the daylight's calm over bogs and mountains
The brave warriors from the stronghold of the north
With the passion for battle rooted deeply in their marrow

The aesir devoted strives straightly when thunderbolt
Strikes and thunder cracks
From ash-grey sky a message
The hammer strikes now command
The rage-lust strives in chest
For new battles
Against the faith of folly, for in the land of the bitter winter
Shall the time of the aesir reign

The heathen army is led by Vintersorg
In the daylight's calm over bogs and mountains
The brave warriors from the stronghold of the north
With the passion for battle rooted deeply in their marrow
